主持国家自然科学基金、江西省自然科学基金、江西省教改课题等7项,参与国家自然科学基金和省自然科学基金5项。中国机械工程学会高级会员、机械设计分会青年委员、国际仿生工程学会会员,《Advanced in Materials》编委会成员,《江苏大学学报》、《应用力学学报》青年编委,并担任《Bioinspiration and Biomimetics》、《IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters》、《Applied Physics Letters》、《Smart Material and Structure》等SCI期刊杂志审稿专家。以第一作者和通讯作者在国际权威期刊《International Journal of Mechanical Sciences》、《Science China Technological Sciences》、《IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics》、《Acta Mechanica Sinica》、《Journal of Mechanisms and Robotics》等期刊上发表SCI论文20余篇(其中中科院TOP期刊论文 9篇)。申请/授权发明专利15项。
